As in other small towns of Makarska Riviera, residents of Igrane traditionally engage in fishing, olive growing and tourism. Besides beautiful beaches and clear blue sea that provide the relaxation for body and soul, possibly the most interesting site for tourists is the Church of St. Mihovil (Michael). It dates from the 11th century and therefore might be especially interesting to the cultural heritage lovers.
